Fretboard

Some pics of the fretboard. Its Pau Ferro with some 1/4″ abalone markers.

Quick update

I did a few minor things last night in the shop.Bridge rough cut, binding channel routed, fretboard slotted and cut. Marked inlay for fret markers, messed with the neck a bit.

Knife Handle

I thought it might be fun to try something different. I picked up the knife from Woodcraft, I am using some Ziricote and Ebony for the handle that I picked up from the scrap bin at Rockler. I finished the wood with Tru Oil.

#6 Moving Along

Here are some new pictures of #6. It looks like i will finish this one before #4 and 5, so i wonder if that makes this one #4? Eh…

I decided to move along and start bracing this one. I figured i would bag the fun inlay ideas, mainly because it will be more expensive and I would have to wait to order the materials.  I still need a few more materials to finish this one, but i should be able to make the order this week.

Pics!

wow that was a lot of pictures!
